  • Business information (partners): Business name, GST number, fleet size, vehicle types, and owner details provided during partner onboarding.

  • Newsletter subscriptions: Email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, links clicked, browser type, device type, and operating system.
  • IP address and location: Approximate location derived from your IP address for city-based search and fraud prevention.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: Session cookies for functionality and analytics. See Section 7 for details.

  • Rental partners: When you book a vehicle, we share your name, phone number, and booking details with the rental shop to facilitate pickup and return.
  • Service providers: Third-party services we use to operate the platform (e.g., cloud hosting via Supabase, payment processing via Razorpay, analytics). These providers process data only as directed by us.
  • Legal authorities: If required by law, court order, or government regulation.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality agreements.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers in India (AWS Mumbai region via Supabase) with the following protections:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
  • Row-level security policies restricting data access
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing
  • Access controls limited to authorised personnel only
  • Automatic backups with 30-day retention

Despite our best efforts, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years after deletion
  • Booking records: Retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance
  • Support communications: Retained for 2 years
  • Analytics data: Retained for 13 months in aggregated, anonymised form

6. Your Rights (DPDPA 2023)

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
